Group Commercial Product Manager at Diab

About the position

The general responsibility for the Group Commercial Product Manager is to develop and drive the complete product portfolio of Diab.

As Group Commercial Product Manager, you will identify needs for product development and define product value proposition to market. You will manage Diab’s product portfolio, from material, through all steps of customization, to engineering services. You will also implement and improve processes to support the above – evaluating profitability of products, product gap analysis, innovation process, and more. The position will also include evaluation of company strategy and market position.

In the role you will identify needs and conduct training for people both internal and external, and review processes for development, launch and follow-up of products.


Key responsibilities and accountability

  • Drive and develop group product information and documentation
  • Serve as the contact point between Sales, Technical organization and Operations
  • Provide more clear needs and requirements for the development of products
  • Follow up on profitability – price and cost
  • Coordinate marketing activities
  • Continuous improve processes
  • Train co-workers – identify needs and deliver training

You will be responsible to chair Product Management Board, where the coordination between Sales, Technical and Operations is conducted.

This is a new position in Diab Group and you will report to CCO (Commercial Chief Officer) at HQ in Helsingborg.
In this role travels will be required.

To fit for the position as Group Commercial Product Manager, we believe you have experience of product management and/or development, in an international environment.

A relevant technical education and understanding is a good base for this role.

You have a positive approach to work, new ideas and an ability to see new opportunities. We believe that you have a “can-do” attitude that drives improvements, and you take personal initiative to empowering our company.

You are reliable and efficient in your work and have a high level of personal drive to actively support the company’s strategy with a strong co-operation and team spirit. This requires a good ability to plan and structure your work with excellent communication skills and capacity to influence and engage others at all levels and different nationalities.

You possess planning and structure, but also have the ability to improvise and quickly find solutions when necessary.

You are of course customer focused and reliable – you keep promises both internally and externally and show a strong work ethic. You make sure Diab’s customer are satisfied and providing them with the best products and solutions.

Beside the above, we are looking for someone aligned with the following skills and experience:


Experience and education

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience from working in an international environment
  • Preferably experience from manufacturing environment
  • Experience in business to business operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point – and other relevant programs
