How do you get the lowest carbon footprint of your application?

Don’t miss our presentation at Composite Exchange, Agora 5 Stage, on Wednesday, March 5, at 16.30.  Eva-Lotta Petersson, Group Sustainability & EHSQ Manager, and Peter Norlin, Technical Manager Europe, will present how we work to reduce our carbon footprint in accordance with the Science Based Targets initiative and how that benefits our customers. We will also demonstrate how our kitting offer, Advanced Kits, will reduce resin usage, weight, and carbon footprint, including the application’s CO2 equivalent savings. We will also introduce some groundbreaking news in this area, so don’t miss it!

Showcases

Our stand will showcase five demos with lightweight and sustainability in focus.

The thermoplastic sandwich panel for aerospace interiors is 100 % recyclable and uses Divinycell F. Using only materials already tested and qualified by Aerospace OEM, the panel is fully compliant with all industry requirements yet 100% recyclable. It also shows all the advantages of a one-step manufacturing process.

Our innovative advanced kits offer optimized fit in the mould, reduced resin consumption, and improved cosmetics for infusion and prepreg applications. Advanced kitting is the optimal solution where weight, resin usage, and surface finishing are critical. It also gives the final product the lowest carbon footprint.

A lightweight floor panel for public transport offers an ideal way to reduce weight by introducing a core material capable of withstanding structural demands. A lighter design will positively impact the environment, reducing fuel consumption and lowering the carbon footprint. A non-organic sandwich composite solution requires minimal maintenance and has a positive cost impact compared to traditional materials.

Lightweight ceramics for interior and exterior design. Modular wet rooms/façade panels with reduced weight and carbon footprint and improved mechanical performance compared to single-sheet ceramics using recycled PET foam.

High-quality, long-service-life subsea buoyancy units are essential for any subsea application. The display showcases our capability for ready-to-print machining and painting buoyancy foams from the surface down to seabed.
